I am also thinking inline valve and i would have ordered a 6mm fuel tap because i thought the fuel hose should be 6mm

The 6mm was only £3.50 delivered, an 8mm is around £9, I will always find a use for it if its not fit for riding the bike.

have you got 8mm hose fitted charlie

Not actually done any measuring but the carbs, fuel filter and tank tap must be 8mm as the 6mm tap fits the small bore pipe that fits on the carb drain plugs for measuring float height which fits inside the standard fuel pipe (thin clear pipe)

my old fuel hose split and ordered some 6mm , i knew as soon as i got and saw it i had made a balls up and it shouldve been 8mm still you live and learn
