No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configuration3 carb full repair kit listed at £40 delivered, sounds worth a punt at that price, also is it OK for a UK 1983 A5 as they usually state 1979-1981...thanks Charlie. Not sure if link will work

I just bought one and they look ok, I only bought mine for the gaskets really as it worked out about the same price as gaskets + a little, don't really have time to make so took the easy way out :(

I have bought a few of them and they are perfect, with the exception of :

1) Use your original float needle retaining clips. The ones in the kit are slightly higher than the originals and can snag/restrain your float tang, causing untold frustration when trying to set your carb float levels.

2) they come with 110 main jets. The jets may not be a problem to some, based on location and altitude etc., but my bike was running too rich. I'm down to 105's, and second grove from top of the jet needles
If you use the 110 jets supplied, caution must be taken when you tighten them up or the head will break off! Take up jet finger tight + 1/4 turn

Craig: A good point with the jet tightening. I would suggest that 1/4 turn would be the most to tighten. Other good points about jetting as well !
Grinding a screwdriver blade to fit the slots fully and with sides that are parallel for full contact is a big asset.
